FUNDECOR kicks off the 2026 educational tour season with a visit from UWC to Río Loro Park

Last week, we were in the Gatún River Basin in Panama, visiting the farms involved in the "Water for the Future" project along with @cocacolafemsa_panama and local partners, to complete the 2025 inspections and review the progress of the areas under agreement.

In addition to the field visits, we joined the landowners for a year-end participatory workshop where we discussed the project's achievements, exchanged lessons learned, and reinforced the importance of working together for a sustainable future.

The project spans 404 hectares managed alongside 13 landowners, combining forest protection, reforestation, and sustainable farming practices to strengthen water replenishment in a critical area for the Panama Canal.

Each field visit reaffirms our commitment: driving real solutions that protect water, strengthen ecosystems, and generate well-being across the territories.
