Commercial Reforestation

The "business model" for commercial reforestation must be disclosed to ensure clarity regarding the investment involved (working capital) and the expected returns. Furthermore, it is essential to be aware of existing financing sources, interest rates, and harvest cycles, among other factors.
Not all sites are suitable for establishing a reforestation project. It is necessary to conduct preliminary site visits to the properties, perform soil sampling for chemical analysis, and recommend the ideal species based on these analyses, site characteristics, and the owners' objectives.

FUNDECOR currently has 235 projects integrated into the PSA, scheme currently in effect, covering an area of 14,690 hectares under the modalities of forest protection (water resources and biodiversity), natural regeneration, and forest protection on farms with post-harvest forest management.
