A day with the pioneers of private forest conservation in Costa Rica
Throughout our 35-year history, we have shared experiences and transferred knowledge to delegations from more than 37 countries. With over 50 international groups hosted, we have seen how the conservation models promoted by FUNDECOR are successfully replicated in latitudes such as Peru and Panama.
In the face of global environmental challenges, we have designed an experiences program where
the tourist stops being a passive observer to become an agent of change. We understand that today's visitor seeks real sustainability that transcends marketing. For this reason, we offer a direct immersion into the mechanisms that keep Costa Rica green: from forests under Forest Management and Payment for Environmental Services (PES) schemes, to contact with local families who share their life stories.
Furthermore, we design custom experiences in water resource management, community volunteering, and socio-environmental projects adapted to the needs of each visitor.
Visitors have the opportunity to neutralize their Water Footprint during their stay in the country and make their visit a demonstrably sustainable experience.

Farm owners who are part of the Sustainable Forest Management Scheme or the Payment for Environmental Services (PES) scheme in the Sarapiquí area.
Tourism operators such as Swiss Travel, Edutours, and Horizontes.
More than 300 participants have neutralized their water footprint.
