Not all reforestation efforts are equal. At FUNDECOR, we have perfected an intervention model that is not measured by the number of trees planted, but by the quality of the restored ecosystem. Our commitment is to transform degraded landscapes into functional young forests within a critical 5-year period.

The success of this program lies in the synergy between three fundamental actors:
Visionary farm owners: Landowners who dedicate their lands (former pastures or grazing areas) to forest recovery, becoming direct guardians of the resource.
Purpose-driven companies: Corporate allies that fund restoration as part of their
decarbonization and environmental responsibility strategy, ensuring the project's economic viability.
FUNDECOR Technical Team: We provide scientific rigor, selecting native species suited to each microclimate and supervising every stage of growth.
What happens during these 5 years?
Our technical support ensures that the forest overcomes the critical stage of vulnerability:
Connectivity design: We select species that attract pollinators and seed-dispersing fauna, accelerating natural regeneration.
Maintenance and monitoring: We perform periodic interventions to ensure the survival of the trees against invasive species or adverse weather conditions.
Recovery of ecosystem services: In just five years, the soil recovers its water infiltration capacity, the nutrient cycle is reactivated, and the area begins to function as a real and measurable carbon sink.
